Subject: Complaint seeking urgent intervention and legal action against false Form-7 application filed to illegally delete my name from the Electoral Roll

Respected Sir/Madam,

I wish to state that I am a genuine resident and registered voter at the above-mentioned address. It has come to my knowledge that an individual named Mr./Ms. _________________ has submitted a Form-7 application seeking the deletion of my name from the electoral roll on false and fabricated grounds (alleging that I am dead / shifted / duplicate).

This claim is completely baseless and fraudulent. I continue to reside at this address, and the supporting identity and residence documents are enclosed herewith.

Filing a false declaration in Form-7 is a cognizable offence under Section 31 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950 (punishable with imprisonment up to 1 year, or fine, or both), as well as an offence under Section 182 of the IPC / Section 217 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for giving false information to a public servant.

In light of this, I earnestly request your office to issue directives to the concerned Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) / District Election Officer (DEO) to:

Conduct a spot verification and immediately reject the fraudulent Form-7 application.
Ensure my name is retained in the electoral roll without disruption.
Initiate appropriate legal proceedings / file an FIR against the applicant for submitting a false declaration to prevent future misuse of electoral procedures.
